We had a GREAT bank holiday weekend back in March celebrating the Easter holiday, have a look below at a few of the things we got up to at Monkey Puzzle Cheshunt in the lead up to Easter!
Easter activities were in full swing back in March! All rooms had fun making salt dough Easter egg decorations for our competition.
Toddlers developed their fine motor skills by using the tweezers to pick up and move small Easter eggs from one place to another.
Pre-school made some yummy chocolate Easter nests with rice krispies, melted chocolate and smarties, yum yum yum!
What better way to celebrate Easter then to hold an Easter Bonnet competition! Thank you so much to all of the parents and carers for helping your children to make their Easter bonnets, they were all so lovely and you made our decision really hard, but congratulations goes to our winners Taylor and Barney!
We also had some great news back in April, we are very pleased to announce that our Ofsted report is out and we can now tell everyone that we have been graded a ‘Good’ by Ofsted!
Look who came to visit the toddlers at the beginning of March! A BIG thank you to Cheshunt fire station for paying us a visit, the children had a great time and learnt a lot about their services. I think we may have a few future firefighters on our hands at Monkey Puzzle Cheshunt!
What would we possibly want to eat on a sunny day? ICE CREAM IN THE SUN!
We had to make sure we ate the scrumptious ice creams before they melted..as you can imagine there was no problem with that!
With the World Cup coming up, we thought we’d start preparing the nursery by designing flags for all the teams that will be taking part! We will be hanging them up throughout the nursery, and we cannot wait to see who wins. Watch this space for more World Cup activities!
What better way to show their creative sides other than to chalk draw in the garden! We had a range of colourful and imaginative pictures and everyone teamed together to create one big, artistic picture!
